Behind the Scenes: Amber & George

Most of my clients nowadays are spread all over the country, and on special occasions – the world! With the advent of Pinterest, collaborating with brides has become infinitely easier. I can create boards that my clients can pin to and we can successfully collaborate in a virtual environment.

As helpful as that is, I still find it beneficial to create style boards for my clients – especially those who have a hard time visualizing the look and feel of an entire event.

For Amber & George’s wedding, I had Amber send me a few photos of items she had already procured for her wedding: her dress, the bridesmaid dresses and an idea she had for her bouquet. I knew she wanted to incorporate the color purple and I knew she wanted something that involved her and George’s love of wine.

I took what she gave me and added a few images and text and sent her what you see below in a PDF file. This proved to be a handy reference for both of us! It’s nothing fancy, but it sums up the event in just a few images.

Brooke Merrill - Such a great idea to help brides find their design inspiration. Custom mood boards. I love this!
